NVQ

An NVQ requires you to successfully complete a number of units. At Distribution and Warehousing Level 2, there are three mandatory and five optional units.

Mandatory Units

  • Put goods and materials into storage
  • Receive goods and materials into storage
Promoting Products to Customers
  • Help customers choose products
  • Provide information and advice to customers
Customer Service
  • Help customers choose products
Organisational Effectiveness
  • Lift, transfer and position loads
  • Maintain hygiene standards in handling and storing food products
  • Maintain the safety of high-risk goods and materials
  • Operate specialised plant machinery to performance requirements (lifting and transferring)
